Position Description

Job Summary
The Accounting Manager of Consolidation & Reporting will serve as a key member of the accounting team, reporting to the VP of Finance. This position will be responsible for the end-to-end close process, consolidation and reporting of financials, supporting and/or providing Portfolio Accounting Officer with SEC reporting, supporting audits and collaborating with FP&A and Controllership teams. Key duties include overseeing consolidation system, SEC flux analysis, refining processes, and managing reporting packages for management and parent entity. This position will provide both hands-on execution and managerial oversight, including supervision of Corporate Accountant position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance & Controls: Ensure financial reporting & systems adhere to US GAAP and internal policies; provide data/reports to support Controllers in audit process
  • SEC Reporting: prepare/review/submit quarterly flux analysis, support 10k footnote disclosures
  • Financial Close & Consolidation: Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes, ensure timely consolidation of multiple legal entities
  • Reporting: Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules
  • Intercompany Transactions: Manage intercompany eliminations, loans and reported balances
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement automation and efficiency gains in consolidation and reporting workflows
  • Collaboration: Partner with controllers, fp&a business services, and external auditors
  • System Management: Internal subject matter expert for consolidation software; including chart of accounts/ hierarchy / rule logic / mappings / enhancements / automation
  • Other duties as needed and/or assigned

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience; including multi-entity environment
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, Financial Statements (P&L, B/S, CF) and relationships therein
  • Working knowledge of SEC reporting requirements
  • Experience with financial close & consolidation processes and software
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Overseeing complex transaction accounting
  • Developing reporting tools, templates, and standard operating procedures
  • Supervision of staff and review of work
